The lifespan of the guide wheel is not calculated based on time, but depends on the type of material you process and the quality of the cutting fluid. Whether it is good or not can be determined through inspection.

Tighten the wire tightly, raise the height to above 300, turn on the machine, check the shaking degree of the front and rear molybdenum wires. If the shaking is too large, it indicates that there is a problem with the front and rear guide wheels or bearings, which need to be removed for inspection. If it cannot be used, it needs to be replaced. Usually, it is necessary to tighten the thread frequently, as loose threads can also affect the lifespan of the guide wheel.

If the shaking is not too large and is indirect, it is possible to continue machining workpieces with lower precision requirements.

Check the cut workpiece. If there are obvious rubbing marks or large accuracy errors on the surface of the workpiece processed under the correct pulse width, it also indicates that the guide wheel and bearings need to be replaced.

When replacing the guide wheel, it is important not to hit the bearing, and the force should not be too large, as it may affect the service life of the guide wheel bearing.
