Before grinding, it is necessary to measure the length of the guide wheel and the width of the grinding wheel to ensure that the center of the grinding wheel width coincides with the high point of the guide wheel surface. The single cycle action of guide wheel grinding is: the CNC program drives the grinding wheel shaft to rotate to the angle that needs to be polished on the guide wheel raceway surface; Feed the formed grinding wheel to the grinding position; The guide wheel rotates and moves laterally, while the grinding wheel axis continuously swings along the curved surface according to the program setting, achieving variable angle grinding; The guide wheel moves laterally to the end point, the grinding wheel exits the grinding position, returns to the starting point, and completes a single grinding cycle. After multiple cycles and multiple feedings of the grinding wheel, the final grinding of the guide wheel is completed.
Installation and commissioning verification
Before using a grinding machine to grind the guide wheel, the straightness of the final grinding roller is not ideal, and the contour of the roller is affected after ultra precision machining. The deviation of the centerline of the ultra precision roller contour is required to be -4.8~4.8mm, and the deviation of the centerline of the roller contour after ultra precision machining exceeds the tolerance. After using a guide wheel grinder to repair the guide wheel, the straightness of the rolling surface of the final grinding roller is qualified, and after ultra precision machining, the deviation of the contour center stably falls within the qualified range.
